EileenBuholtz_BW_150DPI Eileen E. Buholtz received her bachelor of music degree from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, in 1973 as a clarinet major with a minor in humanities. She obtained her law degree magna cum laude from Syracuse University in 1979. She concentrates her practice in insurance defense litigation, commercial litigation, and in estate planning and administration. Combining these skills, she has successfully litigated several contested estate matters including will contests. She has lectured for the New York State Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association on New York State Labor Law issues including construction site accidents and on trial practice, evidence and ethics. Eileen is past vice-president of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, (www.wbasny.org) and serves as on the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section. In 1994 she received awards from the Monroe County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association for her pro bono representation to victims of domestic violence and elder abuse.

DenineCarrDenine Carr (of Counsel) is an experienced litigator having handled many civil cases, including civil rights and commercial cases in federal district and state courts. Her legal experience also includes arguing substantive and contested pretrial motions, administering numerous depositions in employment discrimination and commercial matters, leading numerous arbitrations and delivering legal argument before the Fourth Department. From June 2005 to May 2006 Ms. Carr published amonthly column in The Daily Record.

Ms. Carr earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University of Chicago. School of Law and her Undergraduate Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa

In 2003 she received the William E. McKnight Award from Volunteer Legal Services Projects and in 2003 she received the Presidents Award from the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys.
